During the process I learnes so many new things I never thought of during my previous levels. With Manuel´s example I realized how important it is develop leadership skills to conduct diving operations safely while at the same time being fun and empathetic to customers. Juan Martinez We dove with Manuel 4 days and will dive with him again when we return to Coz. He knows the reefs well; points out interesting stuff; takes care of the divers and their gear. He picked us up at the dock of our hotel. Part of the experience we like is being out on the water and enjoying the trip, and his boat allows us to have a great experience above water. He provides snacks and beverages during surface intervals. Good at finding critters, like a toad fish and many other things. Attentative to the divers, but let you dive your own profile. Great experience! Sheri & Maury I went to Cozumel and took the Open Water training with Manuel. He is a very skilled instructor. I had problems compensating and he was sensitive to my situation. He is very calm, explains clearly everything above and under water and he is always in control and fun. Hence you feel you are safe and care for, which builds your confidence in such a new and beautiful environment. Miriam Ramos Manuel is the best and most professional guy you will meet in the states or across the world. I have known him for over 10 years and dove with him on more than 15 occasions. He is my personal friend now and I have used him time and time again. I go to Cozumel specifically to see Manuel and dive with him. At the time, I was very impressed with Manuel's attentiveness and professionalism. I travel every four months, and in June 08, I took another dive trip. At that point, I realized how much over and above Manuel's service really is. Juan Martinez We'll we just got back from Cozumel, this is the first time in over 8 yrs that we made this trip in mid April, apparently there are more currents that usual this time of year and change by the hour. We did two dive sites in one Yucab and Tormentos because the current was so strong, but we knew we were is safe hands thanks to our divemaster Manuel we had an enjoyable and safe dive, he is very informative and knows the reefs - current situation before heading into the water and explains to you what he sees, he adds his personal touch as well, this is why we keep coming back to Manuel. Beatris and Mark Prior to the week I just spent in Cozuumel with my extended family, all of my dives have been off the coast of northern California. The kelp forests are beautiful, but do not hold a candle to the reefs of Cozumel. To make the experience all the more special, there was Manuel. Knowledgeable, fun, and a stickler for safety. My wife did her first open water dive with him and he could not have been more attentive and supportive as he helped her go under the surface of the Caribbean for the first time. He is professional yet easy-going. He takes his responsibilities seriously, but is fun. For a small group there is no better operation in Cozumel. Alan & Kristen I was amazed with the reef and diving. I am from Kona, and dive in some of the most beautiful waters in the world ... but the reef here is absolutely fantastic. Thanks to Manuel I was able to witness many beautiful sights foreign to Hawaiian waters. Leslie We have been diving in Cozumel for many years and I will sayt that this was the best diving we have ever done. Thanks to our divemaster, Manuel, who made all our dives in August, 2007 an adventure. Manuel took us to some dive sites that we had never done before near the mainland--Punta Venado and Playa Tortuga. Now that was an adventure!! He is very knowledgeable of all the reefs, very personable and has a great sense of humor. We had a great time on his boat the "Alma Rosa" and the Captain is his dad. My two sons and I had limited time at Cozumel due to being on the cruise ship. Manuel and crew did exactly what they said they would do and then some. We never even had to hurry. We were working on our house one day when manuel called us and said he had some people cancel and wanted to know if we wanted to dive. Of course we dove. He is always thinking of his customers first. Fue una gran experiencia de familia la que recomendamos a todos nuestros amigos. Diving with Manuel at United Divers is unbelievable. I finished my certification and had a refresher with Manuel. The next day we went diving . He is so patient and encouraging. He made my first diving experience an unforgettable one. There are definitely bigger and faster boats out there, but they do not compare with what you get from diving with United Divers. Manuel is very hands on and personal. He is a great dive master and lots of fun. We did six dives and then also a night dive: what an unforgettable experience!!! We are already planning our next dive trip and it will definitley be with United Divers. Pam Yuhanick We went to Cozumel to get married and brought several family members along for the occassion. Manuel was recommended by a friend and we called United Divers for him to take us diving. Two of us got certified and one of the children got a junior certification. It was such a superiour learning experience to get certified in the ocean rather than a pool. Manuel was very thorough and patient as we got our sea legs. His communication skills are excellent and he is always encouraging you, as well as making you feel comfortable and safe as you dive. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to experience scuba diving. Scott Bridges We had a great time Diving with Manuel and his crew. The boat was comfortable and well equipped. And most importantly, not overcrowded! Manuel knows the reefs and has an eagle eye for finding all the marine life. We saw turtles and sharks on almost every dive, with a couple of eagle rays thrown in for good measure. We even had a great view of a sail fish sparkling in the sun as we descended for another nice dive. Our diving experiences with Manuel and United Divers have been wonderful. I dove with Manuel in 2003 and 2004. On my first trip, I was a novice and he instructed me in the basics of diving in a thorough and professional manner. As a result, it made my first dive a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. At all times, Manuel was always close to me which provided me with the assurance that I was in the care of a "true" professional. On my second trip, we knew Manuel and United Divers were the only people we wanted to call to go diving. This trip, Manuel trained me even further in the fundamentals of diving and I became certified. My thanks and appreciation goes out to Manuel and his staff for their professionalism and their desire to make sure we had the best dive experience possible.
